The space

Welcome to MATESSA, a cosy and charming flat situated in Vera Playa, just a stone’s throw from the beach, in a lovely, tree-lined residential complex with communal swimming pools. Its bohemian atmosphere and tasteful décor make it the ideal place to make the most of a holiday in the sunshine on the Almería coast, whether as a couple, with family or with friends.

Situated on the first floor, the flat features a cosy living-dining room with an open-plan kitchen, opening onto a balcony where you can relax after a day at the beach or by the swimming pools. The sofa bed provides comfortable accommodation for additional guests.

The double bedroom, decorated in a romantic style, also has its own balcony, offering a lovely outdoor space. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi round off the comforts of MATESSA, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing stay in a typically Mediterranean setting.

Guest access

ACCESS TO THE APARTMENT:
You will have access to the whole flat as well as the communal areas of the residence, including the communal swimming pools. MATESSA is situated on the 1st floor and there is no lift.

On arrival, our CAP ESPAÑA HOLIDAYS City Manager will welcome you personally on site, hand over the keys and show you round the flat so that you can settle in comfortably as soon as you arrive.

Parking spaces are available in front of the residence. Parking is free and unallocated: you can park wherever you like, subject to availability. However, there are plenty of other parking options in the immediate vicinity of the residence.

ONLINE SHOP

You will have access to an online service shop enabling you to book, before and during your stay, all the services you may need: local visits, home chef, extra cleaning, home delivery, etc.

The neighborhood

MATESSA enjoys a prime location in Vera Playa, in the quiet, residential area of Las Marinas, just a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean. Las Marinas beach is around 200 to 250 metres from the residence, whilst Puerto Rey beach and the famous Playazo offer excellent opportunities to enjoy the sun, swimming and water sports.

Everything you need is close by, so you can enjoy your holiday without having to use the car every day: restaurants, bars, cafés and small grocery shops can all be found in the neighbourhood. You can also easily reach Garrucha, a charming seaside resort renowned for its harbour, restaurants and seafood specialities. A stroll along the seafront allows you to make the most of the coastline and reach Garrucha on foot or by bike.

Leisure enthusiasts will also appreciate the proximity of several golf courses and the variety of activities on offer along the coast: water sports, walks, cycling, beaches and culinary discoveries. Vera Playa is therefore an excellent base from which to explore the Levante region of Almería, with its sea, sunshine and coastal villages.

Getting around

-By plane
Almería Airport is the nearest, about an hour’s drive from Vera Playa. Murcia-Corvera and Alicante airports also offer a wide range of flight options, and the drive to the residence takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours respectively. Car hire and transfer services are available from the airports.

-By car
Vera Playa is easily accessible via the Spanish motorway network, in particular via the A-7/E-15. From the motorway, simply follow the signs for Vera Playa and Puerto Rey. The residence is easily accessible by car and you can park for free in front of the residence; there are no designated parking spaces.

• By public transport Vera is served by regular bus services. There is a direct service from Vera to Vera Playa, whilst regional services also serve Garrucha and neighbouring towns. For travellers arriving by plane without a car, a transfer or a taxi from the airport is an option. Transport timetables may vary depending on the season.
